The Central and North Hastings Chamber of Commerce helps business owners grow through networking, referrals, and education. In this episode, Shari Pearce explains how the chamber can help you integrate into the local business community, find resources, and even get a personal tour of Hastings County from Shari herself.

Building Connections
Successful businesses are built on strong relationships. The Central and North Hastings Chamber of Commerce can help you meet local business leaders through networking events like their monthly Business A.M. Breakfast and Business series. Shari has seen connections lead to referrals, partnerships, and other valuable opportunities.
Helping Businesses Reach Customers
Another focus of the chamber is giving businesses a platform to showcase their products and services. For example, their Community Voice videos air live on Facebook every Wednesday and regularly get 10,000 views in the first few days. Inexpensive ad space is available in their digital News of 7 publication, which is delivered to over five thousand emails. Shari says she regularly hears from members that these initiatives successfully draw people in.
A Personal Touch
The Central and North Hastings Chamber of Commerce has a genuine commitment to welcoming each business owner into the community. In the podcast, Shari shares how she offers a personalized tour of Hastings County to help business owners meet key people and get familiar with the county. Shari says it’s a win-win because she gets to know the business owner and how she can collaborate with them. Plus, as she puts it, “it's that one-on-one personal touch that actually helps build our community.”
