We want to help you
be wildly successful!

Thank you for your interest in starting a business in Hastings County!

Currently our business coaching service is on hold as our Small Business Coordinator position is vacant. However, Economic Development staff remain open and excited to chat with you about your business idea. We appreciate that trying to find answers yourself can be a headache. Let us be your "Human Google" and identify resources. For example, you may want to review the Ontario Government's 10 step guide.

You also will want to check and see if there are any permits and licences required for your business. An online tool called BizPal helps you find permits based on your location, industry and business activities.

How about just get in touch! We'd love to hear from you.
