Summer Student Position

Bancroft, ON

Job Description:

• Beautification and maintenance of resident parkette.
• Maintain the common areas to provide a pleasant environment for residents
• Painting both interior and exterior.
• Garbage removal, window washing and cleaning washrooms, walls and floors.
• Perform general maintenance activities in and around the Manor.
• Moving equipment and installing as required.
• Local errands to pick up maintenance supplies.
• Be aware of and follow the Occupational Health and Safety Act and any County Policies.
• Other duties as may be assigned or required from time to time.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Enrolled as post-secondary student (College/University) and returning to full-time education at a post-secondary institution in September 2026.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience in the maintenance or construction field.
• Must have access to a reliable vehicle.
• Must possess a valid “G” license
• Provide own work boots.
• Police background check required.
• Confidentiality Agreement must be signed.

Work Location:                        Centennial Manor, Bancroft

Position Length:                      May 11 – August 28, 2026

Wage Range:                           $18.00-$20.00 per hour + 4% vacation per pay
