Take in the Colours of Fall along the North Hastings Scenic Routes

Table of Contents

There’s no better way to witness the true beauty of nature’s vibrant fall colours than a road trip through the scenic countryside.

With 13 Scenic Routes to choose from you will find yourself meandering the countryside through large and untouched forests, and along river banks and water falls, while valley vistas and historic homesteads speckle the area.

With stops along the way you get to enjoy the natural beauty of the region, including public beaches, parks and scenic lookouts. The North Hastings region offers easy access to four provincial parks, including Silent Lake, Lake St. Peter, Egan Chutes and Algonquin Park. Why not expand your fall foliage journey by grabbing a bite to eat at our local eateries, sample local brews at our pubs and find a special keepsake at our specialty shops to remind you of your fall colour tour.

New to the Scenic Routes is Route #14: Painted Quilt Route, featuring large hand-painted quilts displayed on barns, buildings, fences, and a few just hanging around. See if you can spot them as you journey the Scenic Routes.
