Santa isn’t just doing parades this year, he’s also available for photo ops and more!’
Stirling Lions Club Breakfast with Santa | Dec 4, 8am-11am
Head to the Stirling Lions hall at 435 West Front St. for a hearty breakfast and an opportunity for one-on-one time with Santa! Organizers are limiting the number of people to 80 in the hall to keep social distancing in place.
Visit Santa at Marmora Memorial Park | Dec 4, 2pm-4pm
Santa will be handing out treats to the children at Memorial Park following the Marmora and Lake Santa Claus Parade. For more information, please contact the Marmora Crowe Valley Lions Club
Christmas at O’Hara Mill | Dec 4, 10am-6pm
A full day of fun for the whole family at O’Hara Mill! Live music, horse drawn rides, hot beverages, bonfires, food, and of course a visit with Santa! Sounds like a great time for everyone!
Santa at the Covered Bridge in Stirling | Dec 11, 11am-1pm
You couldn’t find a more picturesque spot to get photos taken with Santa than the Stirling covered bridge! Whether or not there’s snow, you can guarantee some wonderful captures here.
Deseronto Christmas Family Fun | Dec 12, 1pm-4pm
With activities like horse-drawn wagon rides, public skating, and visits with Santa, you’ll definitely be in the holiday mood by the end of the day!

Community Holiday Spirit

Madoc Festival of Trees | November 19-21
Admission is $5 to view these beautifully decorated trees, designed by local sponsors. Purchase and drop your $2 raffle tickets into the ballot box to win your favourite Christmas Tree or Wreath! Bring an item for the local food bank and you will receive one free ballot!
All in support of the Madoc Business Improvement Team.
Tweed Festival of Trees | Dec 2-5
Another opportunity to win some beautiful seasonal decor for your home, and to support a good cause!
All Dressed for Christmas in Tweed
Untangle those lights, arrange the decorations and take part in the Tweed & Area Chamber of Commerce and Municipality of Tweed’s Christmas decorating contest. Residents and businesses are encouraged to submit their entry form by December 14 and judging will take place on December 17 & 18.
Don’t live in the Municipality of Tweed? That’s okay, you can still get in on the fun! Hop in the car and make the trip for an evening cruise to enjoy the lighting displays from those who’ve entered the contest. See if you can pick out who may be the chosen winners from each of the categories.
